Fixing Libby “Verification Loop Error” when trying to access Reciprocal Lending Arrangement (RLA) partner collections.

OverDrive is aware of the verification loop issue and is working on a fix. In the meantime, you can get around it in two parts: remove your library card from the Libby app and add it back, then disable your partner libraries and re-enable them.

Part 1: Remove your card and add it back

Remove your card

1. Tap Menu, then Cards.

   

2. If needed, tap the drop-down icon to switch libraries.

   

3. Tap the … button on your card.

   

4. Tap Remove Card, then Yes, Remove Card.

   If you set up Libby on other devices using a recovery passkey or setup code, the card will be removed from those devices too.

Add your card back

1. Select Mohave County Library District if it isn’t already selected.
2. Tap Sign In With My Card.

   

3. Enter your library card number, then tap Next.

   

4. Enter your PIN, then tap Next.

   

You should now be on the Libby home page for Mohave County Library District.

Part 2: Disable and re-enable partner libraries

1. Tap Menu.

   

2. If needed, use the library drop-down to select your home library, Mohave County Library District.
3. On your card, tap the … button.

   

4. Tap Partner Libraries.

   

5. Next to any partner library that shows Remove, tap Remove, then Proceed.

   Note: Your loans and holds will not be affected.

   

6. Wait about 10 seconds.
7. Tap Enable next to each partner library.
