How do I apply to be a library volunteer?

To apply to be a Mohave County Library District volunteer, you can contact your local library branch for more information. The library district actively recruits and interviews volunteers, and assigns tasks based on interest, skill, and need. Once you express interest in volunteering, you will be asked to fill out an application and may be required to undergo a background check. As a volunteer, you will be subject to library personnel policies and procedures, and will work under the supervision of library staff. If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will be evaluated on a regular basis, and may be recognized at a volunteer recognition function held at least once a year. In appreciation, library volunteers may be exempt from paying overdue fines.
