DEVICES, COMPATIBILITY & SYNCING IN LIBBY
Here's where you can use LIBBY and how to keep your books in sync across devices.
WHERE LIBBY WORKS
- iPhone & iPad: iOS 10 or later, from the App Store
- Android: version 7.1 or later, from Google Play
- Amazon Fire tablets: newer models, from the Amazon Appstore
- Computers & Chromebooks: go to libbyapp.com in the latest Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Edge
USING LIBBY ON ANOTHER DEVICE
Copy your library cards, loans, holds, and tags to a new device, and they'll stay in sync.
- 1- On the new device, open Libby and say yes when it asks if you have a library card
- 2- Choose to recover your data
- 3- If you set up a recovery passkey, tap Recover With Passkey. Otherwise, tap Display Setup Code
- 4- For a setup code: on your original device, go to Menu > Copy To Another Device and enter the code
- 5- Pick your library and start browsing
