To apply to be a Mohave County Library District volunteer, all applications must be submitted through the County’s official Job Posting system. In order to apply, there must be an active volunteer posting listed on the County Job Opportunities page, and applications can only be accepted when a posting is available. If you are interested in volunteering, please check the County Job Postings regularly for open volunteer positions. Once a position is posted, you may complete and submit your application directly through that listing.
Once you have submitted your application, you may be required to undergo a background check. As a volunteer, you will be subject to library personnel policies and procedures, and will work under the supervision of library staff. If you are accepted as a volunteer, you will be evaluated on a regular basis, and may be recognized at a volunteer recognition function held at least once a year. In appreciation, library volunteers may be exempt from paying overdue fines.
