While the library provides access to a wide range of materials, parents and caregivers are responsible for guiding their child’s reading choices. To support you, we also recommend trusted tools that help you evaluate books and media based on your family’s preferences.
The linked accounts feature lets users connect family or household library accounts under one login, so they can easily switch between profiles. This makes it simple to place holds, check due dates, and manage materials for multiple people without logging in and out.
Content controls manage access to titles in Libby based on the audience categories assigned to them. By default, all users are assigned the “Libby for Everyone” preset, where no titles are restricted or hidden.

Emailed Checkout Notifications
New Feature! You can now sign up to get emailed notifications when items are checkout out on your account or your child’s account. For child’s account, parent’s email must be on the child’s account.Â
 Families can use the AR Bookfinder tool to easily find books that match their child’s reading level. Through AR, we aim to inspire a lifelong love of reading and support continuous learning.
