# Reading and Listening in Libby

READING & LISTENING IN LIBBY

Here's how to get started with e-books, audiobooks, and magazines in LIBBY.

  READING BOOKS

- 1- Tap **Shelf**, then **Loans**
- 2- Tap **Read With…** and choose **Libby** (or **Kindle**, U.S. only)
- 3- Tap the center of the screen to show or hide the reading controls
- 4- Use the **appearance** icon at the top to change the font, text size, or turn on dark mode

*Picture books and graphic novels don't offer all of these settings.*

- 1- Tap **Shelf**, then **Loans**
- 2- Tap **Open Audiobook**
- 3- Tap **Play/Pause** to start listening
- 4- While listening, set a **sleep timer** or change the **playback speed**

Magazines are always available and **don't count against your borrowing limit**.

- 1- Find a magazine by searching, browsing the Library, or tapping **Newsstand**
- 2- Tap **Open Magazine**, then use the **article** button to read individual articles
- 3- When you close it, choose whether to **keep** the issue or get notified about new issues
- 4- Find kept and subscribed magazines on the **Magazine Rack** on your Shelf
